Post-Show Audience Engagement

R. sends out a Shot of the Show texture and a friendly thank you/invitation to next show after each show.

Sure, she could script this or buy an Audience Manager tool, but she prefers to do this manually to encourage feedback and engagement.

PROCESS PHOTOS

R. typically shoots photos during rehearsal and videos during the show.

  1. Shoot photos.
  2. Delete the crappy ones.
  3. Upload the best to Second Life.
  4. Name them in sequence (Debauche1234, Debauche1235, Debauche1236, etc).
  5. Tack on the name of the primary person in the photo.
  6. Select the best one of any new acts as Shot of the Show.

WRITE THANK YOU NOTE

Typically, they follow this template:

Hi there, R. from Debauche here. Thank you for coming to our show at VENUE, we really enjoyed performing for you today and we hope that you enjoyed the performance as much as we did. Here’s a little keepsake to remember the show by. We look forward to seeing you again at our shows, and you can see our upcoming schedule at https://see.debauche.dance/ Once again, thank you for coming! <3 Debauche

PREPARE IM

This doesn’t take very long for most shows… you can do this quickly during the final act.

  1. Open an IM window for everyone else in the list.
  2. Paste text into an IM window.
  3. Drag and drop shot of show texture to IM window.
  4. Proceed down the list.

If someone responds with a thank you, thank them back.

If they respond with more than a thank you, share the feedback with the group.

If they respond with a conversation or question, respond appropriately and pass along any inquiries for the group.
